Hamrun Boys’ Secondary School - St. George Preca College
The first and second phases of works at the Hamrun Boys’ Junior Lyceum have been completed last year. These phases comprised of the construction of two lift shafts and the installation of respective lifts, the repairing of lintels, the installation of internal and external apertures, sanitary facilities for students with special needs, new electrical installations including those in the gym area, façade redecoration and the upgrading of the electrical power system.
In addition, interventions were carried out to render the school accessible to all. Furthermore, additional rooms were constructed to accommodate IT laboratories and staff rooms.
The school, which has a population of 1200 students has also been equipped with a synthetic turf football pitch.
